What's new in v0.24.1

A stability hotfix: the big interface overhaul that shipped with v0.24.0 significantly regressed the desktop experience — it is rolled back as one block, and the classic interface returns exactly as it was.

The interface overhaul, rolled back

Rather than patching the overhaul piece by piece, the update removes it cleanly: one coherent rollback, and the previous interface returns identically.

One-block rollback Interface

All 195 commits of the overhaul are removed as one coherent whole — no half measures, no wobbly in-between states.

Exactly what comes back

What is preserved

  • Work that landed after the overhaul is preserved where histories overlapped.
  • Notably the pooled nameplate decluttering and the rendering improvements.

The cleanup

  • The reverted interface's localization keys are purged, along with its downstream test artifacts.
  • The release checker now also verifies the README version badges — release metadata can no longer drift.
