01
Professions 2.0: the loop is closed
The progression announced with v0.27.0's Professions 2.0 is now complete: you gather, you learn tier by tier from masters placed in the world, you craft — and the economy follows. The site's Professions page recomputes itself from the new data.
Gathering gets real New
World nodes finally yield real materials — Copper Ore, Silverleaf Herb, Rough Hide… — with pristine veins and rare gather events.
Materials, veins and events
From 21 to 75 recipes New
54 recipes arrive at once — 9 per profession across six professions — taught tier by tier by six new profession masters, and a Professions Guild that introduces itself by letter.
Tiers, masters and the guild letter
Worth remembering
- Silkspun Satchel: the first craftable bag (10 slots, tailoring).
- Healing and mana potions, elixirs and nine cooked dishes join the economy.
- The crafting window shows profession identity, recipe requirements, Masterwork results and the maker's signature.
02
Frost recalibrated & spec power floors
After the Fury Warrior in v0.27.2, it's the Frost Mage's turn to see its stacked multipliers deflate — while the passive specialization power floors are restored for all nine classes.
Cryomancy: procs deflate Balance
The instant Winterlash from Brain Freeze no longer hits 30% harder, Brittle Ruin loses its +20% critical damage, and Frozen Orb moves to a 45s cooldown.
All four nerfs in detail
Barriers finally scale Balance
Frostveil and Blazing Barrier absorb less at base (50) but gain +50% of your spell power, across three ranks. Shifting Ward replaces Temporal Rift.
New ranks and talents
Worth remembering
- Icebind: the root now breaks on cumulative damage — 15% of the target's max HP, between 20 and 60.
- Battle Rhythm (Warrior) becomes pure resource: no more +5% damage, the bonus rage stays.
- Nythraxis's scripted transitions can no longer be broken by ordinary crowd-control removal.
03
Interface & social
A third action bar Interface
- A 3rd action bar on desktop, and expanded action pages on mobile.
- Spellbook and Social windows move to a wider landscape layout.
- The World Market now also filters by Legendary rarity.
Chat gets its colors
- Player names are class-colored in chat, with a verified-streamer badge.
- Hovering a player shows an identity tooltip with character details.
Welcome guardrails
- Spirit-healer revival and Delve Mark purchases now ask for confirmation.
- Ready checks summarize who didn't respond or isn't ready.
04
Reliability, rendering & audio
A sturdier client
- Ambient audio and nameplate updates optimized; the spatial grid is reclaimed and now serves mob-mechanic allies.
- Boot-time loads (glTF, HDR, textures) retry on transient failures; the reconnect overlay shows attempt counts and retry timing.
- Firefox: the camera rotates again after a forced pointer-lock release.
Artisan Row takes shape
- Artisan Row and the profession stations get their dedicated decorative models, with map markers.
- Previously unmapped weapons finally use the correct held-model variant.
Sound everywhere
- Card Duel gains its sound effects: shuffle, reveal, play, round and result.
- Training Dummies keep the critical-hit cue without screaming like wounded creatures.
- The Discord bot repairs compounded level suffixes in synchronized nicknames.
