The PvP release. Thornhollow Fields opens its gates: the game’s first battleground, a ranked 5v5 capture-the-flag with its own honor economy, lifetime ranks and five epic sets at the quartermaster. Around it: the promised professions overhaul (crafting becomes a real gesture), full swimming — breath gauge and drowning included —, a character creator, and a world that finally lives through day and night, fog-free.

01Thornhollow Fields — the first battleground
Crimson versus Azure, 5 versus 5, three captures to win. Ranked queue, honor, gear sets. THE headline of this release — and it plays as a guild team.
The mode Ranked 5v5
Capture the flag, first to three caps, twelve minutes tops. The queue keeps parties together — a full guild team enters as one, from level 20.

Honor and ranks New
Every win, killing blow and assist pays honor. Spend it at the quartermaster — and it also counts for life: three ranks and a title to earn.

The WARFARE quartermaster Gear
The FURY catalogue is rebuilt at item level 31 — heroic-dungeon level — and grows to five families: the druid’s Thornhide joins. Prices revised accordingly.

The guild bank opens up At last
Every member now sees the guild bank read-only — no more invisible tab for everyone but the officers (withdrawing stays restricted).
The community commissions hint shows where you actually look for it.
Around the battleground
Live scoreboard during the match, a frozen end screen to catch your breath, and an arena-style death feed.
A “Flagbearer” title at 25 wins — count your evenings.
02The new items, and where they drop
The rebuilt PvP catalogue — thirty-five armor pieces, weapons and jewelry — plus four quivers. Rates and prices come from the code, not from rumors.
The WARFARE catalogue, rebuilt Quartermaster
Furyforged Battlegear — mail, Strength: the warrior.
Stormbound Vestments — caster mail: the shaman.
Ashstalker Kit — leather, Agility: rogue and hunter.
Epic, level 20 required, bind on pickup: armor from 450 to 1,200 honor per piece, weapons at 1,200, rings and necklaces 275 to 400. Thornhide Garb is the newcomer; the other four families existed and get re-leveled.
The hunter’s four quivers Drops
Mogger’s Hide Quiver (uncommon) — off Mogger, the starter-zone rare elite: 20%.
Cragmaw Huntquiver (rare) — off Old Cragmaw, the Thornpeak beast: 25%.
Gravewyrm Bone Quiver (rare) — off Korzul the Gravewyrm: 5%, as a bonus roll that steals nothing from other drops.
Direfang Quiver (epic) — from the Nythraxis raid: 14%.
Hunters were the only class whose off-hand stayed empty — details in the Classes section.
03A living world
The biggest visual overhaul in the game’s history — plus two complete systems: swimming and the character creator.
Day, night, and no more fog Major
Sun and moon cross the sky, a clock joins the HUD, towns light their streetlamps — and the outdoor fog is gone: you can see the whole world.

Real swimming New
Real strokes, camera diving, open-sea swell.
A breath gauge — that runs out, all the way to drowning. Surface in time.
The character creator New
Hair, beards, earrings, makeup, outfits, jewelry materials — tabbed, with presets and free colors.
A Fit Studio to try gear on before wearing it, helmet preview included.
Legendaries become unique Rule
Every legendary item is now unique-equipped, per family: no more twin legendary blades in both hands. If you were wearing two, the second one stays in the bag.
World repairs Fixes
Two uncompletable Galecrest quests are fixed, and so is the Scorched Stores crate.
Stale mob names refreshed, gathering nodes pulled out of the water.
04Professions get physical
The promised overhaul is here: crafting is no longer a click, it’s a gesture that takes time — and that players can commission from each other.
Crafting becomes a cast Overhaul
Every craft and every enchant now has a cast time shown on the recipe, with a progress bar and batch queue. Tools recharge.

The map shows where to gather Handy
Gather nodes now show on the zone map — no more blind grid-walking.
Skill-ups announce themselves as toasts, and materials show their profession affinity in tooltips.
Claws and tusks Gathering
Beasts in the Drakelands, Willowfen and Evergarden can now be harvested for claws and tusks, two new material families.
Worth knowing Rules
When fishing, reeling before the bite ends the session — button-mashing no longer pays, wait for the bite.
Reallocating your Town Focus is no longer free: free but slow (1 min per point), or paid in coin and Chime Dust to go fast — cost shown before you confirm.
Training costs re-price when the market moves.
For enchanters New
A basic off-hand enchant arrives (shields and held focuses): +3 Stamina, 5 Chime Dust — the slot refused every enchant until now.
The masterwork seal now shows on items stored in the bank.
05Classes & spells
A real buff for everyone, one transformed class, and animations for all.
Hunter: the off-hand and the pet At last
Four quivers fill a slot that never served, and your pet inherits your gear instead of staying frozen at tame time.

Mastery and talents: the whole hit All ↑
Mastery and talent percentages now apply to the entire hit, not just part of it. Your character sheet finally tells the truth — and your damage rises accordingly.
Every class gets its gestures Visual
New casting animations for the six caster classes, and bespoke attacks for a dozen monsters. Purely cosmetic: no combat value changes.
Fine tuning Fixes
Mass Barrier and Nature’s Fury no longer double-stack on the same target.
The warrior’s Avatar correctly gets its half spell-damage reduction.
Casting auto-acquires an attacking target; eating stays compatible with natural regeneration.
New setting Comfort
An option to stop auto-attack on target switch — sheep-carers will appreciate it.
06Dungeons, rifts & bosses
No new boss this time — the PvP headliner took the slot — but rifts get more readable and less punishing.
Rifts enter the Book Deeds
The Book of Deeds now covers procedural dungeons: rifts count, go collect them.
You keep your loot Fix
The corpse you carry follows you down rift floors — no more loot left behind.
More readable Comfort
The rift floor name shows on the world map.
Delve shop purchases and companion upgrades now require proximity — no more accidental remote buys.
07Comfort & technical
Tooltips that tell everything, an interface that tidies up, and a game that runs better on phones.
Honest tooltips Interface
Per-slot stack caps on items, a “Use” line on elixirs.
Elite and Boss status shown on monsters, threat gauge as a real comparison.
Shield block gets its own floating text and combat-log line.
An interface that tidies up Settings
A new graphics submenu, and a real “reset to defaults”.
Unused action-bar slots can be hidden.
Gamepad: camera zoom is bindable; mobile: swipe-look, safe-area insets, a left frame for tablets.
It runs better Performance
On mobile the game starts on a light graphics preset — raise it if your phone keeps up.
Accessibility pass: real buttons, accessible names, keyboard focus in dialogs.
Rain is visible in Wraithwood, and Frostveil’s aurora learned some restraint.
