The release that leaves your character alone — and fixes everything around it. No spell, no talent, no set, no recipe changes: across everything the Codex publishes, this patch moves exactly three numbers. The rest is machinery, and you will feel it: the hitches at login and on the character preview are gone, the game no longer reloads itself on iPhone after a long session, the Android install drops from 555 MB to 68 MB, and an item lock finally stops you salvaging away the thing you meant to keep.

01Your characters do not move
That is the most important news in the release, and it fits in one sentence: there is nothing to redo. After the total overhaul of v0.36.0, this one touches no class at all.
Zero balance changes Verified
Across the thousands of values the game publishes — spells, talents, specs, items, sets, recipes, quests — this patch changes exactly three, and all three are on monsters.

The dummy no longer wrecks your DPS Fix
The warlock’s Sentence executes a target below 20% health. On a training dummy it was reporting the million health it had left as a single hit, ruining the parse.

PvP fear and control: nothing new Clarification
The official notes announce a fix to fear diminishing returns. Nothing changes for you: v0.36.0 was already correct. Here is the exact ladder anyway, read straight from the code.

02Professions & gathering
No recipe, no gathering node, no fishing table and no enchant changes. What does arrive is an old request: protecting what you do not want to lose.
The item lock New
Right-click any item in your bags, your bank or the guild bank: a padlock appears, and the item refuses to be sold, salvaged or consumed as a reagent.

What the lock changes for crafting Worth knowing
A recipe needing 10 units of a material only counts your unlocked copies: with 8 free and 4 locked, the recipe refuses to start.
The denial reaches you before any bag-space message — so you immediately know it is the lock, not the space.
Each block (sell, salvage, craft) has its own message, so there is never any doubt about what stopped you.
The rest of professions is intact Unchanged
No recipe added, removed or retuned.
No change to gathering nodes, fishing or enchants.
Your v0.36.0 profession-levelling plans still hold exactly as written.
03Dungeons, rifts & bosses
Three changes, and the first is the only real rebalance of the release: a rift boss whose two mechanics were killing players who had, in fact, reacted.
Xarreth: two zones finally dodgeable Major
On Bonelord Xarreth, Soul Grave goes from 2.5s to 3.5s of cast time and Death Sentence from 3s to 4s. At S rank your real reaction window goes from 0.46s to 1.16s.

Grix grows — and gains reach Careful
Grix the Tunnelking is now exactly half again the size of the Deeprock Diggers he summons. This is not only cosmetic: his melee reach grows too.

The Rift forge closed off Security
Three Riftbound forge commands — upgrade, enchant, socket — answered anyone who knew how to call them, even though the interface never shipped. They are now off by default.

04World & quests
Nothing to redo on the quest side: no quest, no NPC and no zone is modified. The only change is visual, and it is in the very first zone of the game.
The kobolds finally have bodies Art
In Eastbrook Vale, the Deeprock Diggers had been wearing a goblin stand-in model. They now get their real rat-kobold body.
Grix the Tunnelking gains a crown and a shovel, and his animation skeleton is repaired.
Their textures ship compressed: the raw versions were the ones implicated in the iOS memory kills on world entry.
No quest changes Unchanged
Not one quest added, removed or retuned in this release.
No NPC, no zone and no mob loot table moves.
Your quest chains in progress continue exactly as before.
Two atmosphere fixes Fix
Mage ground runes and rift boss windup telegraphs finally take the colour of their spell school: a fire boss no longer announces its cast in arcane violet.
Dyed armour keeps its colour across a zone change, and the arena walls keep their stone detail.
05Guild & social
Two changes: a guard rail on the General channel, and an emergency button that did nothing in the one place you most needed it.
Unstuck finally works in battlegrounds New
Wedged in a wall at Thornhollow Fields, the Unstuck button refused to fire: it counted you as “competitive”. It now works, with guard rails.

The General channel gets a quota Moderation
Each account gets a send ceiling on the General channel, configurable per realm. Denials are explained in the chat window, in your own language.

The lock protects the guild bank too Guild
The new lock applies to guild bank items just as it does to your own bags.
Handy for shared deposits: a material reserved for a specific craft will not be salvaged by a guildmate in a hurry.
A locked item is also excluded from stack merging, so it stays identifiable.
06Comfort & technical
This is the heart of the release. Almost everything below shows up without you changing a thing about how you play — especially on a phone.
The anti-hitch campaign closes out Performance
The last big stalls fall: the armory character preview goes from 754ms to 42ms, and its queue sync from 10.2s to 1.6s.

No more crash-reload on iPhone Mobile
Far-away zones are released when memory runs short: a live iPhone test freed 141 terrain chunks out of 261. Terrain textures drop from 212 MB to 41 MB resident.

Light updates, lighter Android Apps
The app now re-downloads only the files that changed, behind a visible progress gate. And the Android install drops from 555 MB to 68 MB.

Market, Shift+Tab and small comforts Interface
The market sorts cheapest first and shows armor class. Shift+Tab steps back one target. Two missing arena messages return.

The graphics options move Heads-up
The “Insane” rung of Shadow Quality is retired: its single 8192×8192 shadow map cost roughly 256 MB of GPU memory redrawn every frame for barely visible gain. If you were on it, you are clamped to “High”.
Shadows drop to half rate under sustained render pressure, with hysteresis so they do not flicker back and forth.
Sun shadows no longer “swim” as the camera moves.
The overall “Insane” graphics preset still exists.
And also Various
On phones, the action-page indicator no longer collapses into a garbled stack in locales with longer page words.
Ability tooltips print “self only” instead of going blank when a piece of data is missing.
The combat log now samples everyone’s health and primary resource once per second, plus each mob’s top threat entries: parses can finally show why a boss turned around.
All 21 locales ship complete, with zero pending rows.
