A short hotfix, but three changes you will notice. Group resurrections now only raise bodies that are in range and in your line of sight — that was the last way to pull someone into a dungeon they were locked out of. The two bosses everyone farmed for gold pay three times less, while heroic finales pay a great deal more. And your character no longer bolts forward after a render hitch.

01Resurrections finally look at where you are
Until now, a group resurrection raised everyone, wherever the bodies happened to be — the far side of the world included. It was convenient, and it was the last hole in the dungeon lockouts.
What changed Fixed
The two mass resurrections swept the whole raid without looking at distance or walls. Now a body only counts if it is within the spell’s range and in your line of sight. The spell refuses to start if nobody is reachable, and cancels if you are displaced mid-cast.

The four spells involved Ranges
Collective Reversal (Chronomancy) and Ancestors’ Return (Spiritmend): 40 yards.
Recall the Fallen (Paladin): 30 yards, including the group version a Sunmender of level 16 or higher gets.
Temporal Reversal already enforced its 30 yards; what is new for it is line of sight.

Where you reappear Arrival
It is your body that counts, not your ghost: if you released your spirit and ran, the spell measures the distance to where you fell.
Accepting brings you to the caster — but only if they are still within reach of your body.
Otherwise you rise where the spell was cast.

02Dungeon gold: the farm gets trimmed, heroic pays
Two finales were re-pulled on a loop for their purse alone. Their base drops by two thirds, and the gold moves to where there is a daily lockout: heroic finales.
The two farmed bosses Balance
Korzul the Gravewyrm (Gravewyrm Sanctum): base drops from 50,000 to 15,000 copper — from 3 to 7 gold a kill down to 1 to 2 gold.
Zulgar (The Wildheart Basin) takes exactly the same correction, from 55,000.
Both were paying ten to twenty times what the other bosses of their own dungeon pay.

Heroic pays far more New
Any dungeon finale killed under a heroic lockout now pays a 10 gold base instead of its modest normal purse.
The raid finale, Nythraxis, pays 20 gold.
All six finales in the game are covered, from the Hollow Crypt up to the raid.

What it means for you Scope
Heroic is locked once per day per dungeon: the reward goes to the clear, not to the loop.
Nothing else moves on normal — the other bosses keep their purse, and no item changes.
The Dungeon Finder preview finally shows the right number on a heroic finale: until now it advertised the normal purse.
03No more stutter after a render hitch
Online, a frame that took too long to draw made your character freeze, then bolt forward. That is fixed — and only that.
The symptom Fixed
When a frame took longer to draw than the gap between two server updates, your character froze, then caught up all at once at roughly double speed. A single hitch was enough to trigger it.
See the detail
What does not change Scope
A game running slowly but steadily keeps exactly its old behaviour: nothing is hitching, so there is nothing to catch up.
A real network stall looks like a hitch from your machine, but deserves the opposite answer: the display freezes rather than running away. That is still the case.
The allowance is capped at half a second; past that, the game goes back to the network explanation.
Display only Under the hood
The fix only touches how your own character is drawn: not its real position, not what the server sees, not what other players see.
No combat value, no data, no migration.
It only concerns online play: offline there are no server updates to wait for.
04And nothing else
This is a hotfix. Everything v0.38.0 and v0.38.2 brought stays exactly in place.
Nothing new to pick up Content
No item, no mob, no quest, no zone, no mount.
No talent, no mastery, no set bonus, no enchant.
No data migration: nothing to redo on your character.
The text that did change Tooltips
Only the four resurrection descriptions are rewritten: they now state the range, the line of sight and the arrival at the caster’s side.
Temporal Reversal also spells out its 35% health and mana, where it used to say a vague “a portion”.
The site’s Codex cards follow, in French as well as English.
The scenery did not change Under the hood
14 Fenbridge 3D models were re-stamped as part of the version bump.
Only their internal fingerprint moves: identical geometry and textures, identical size, no on-screen difference.
v0.38.2 did the same on Eastbrook and Fenbridge, for the same reason.
